Cimrman English Theatre

Friday, March 31st, 7pm - 10pm
125 CZK

Do you want to learn more about Czech culture and sense of humour? Then you should definitely see one of the theatre plays about Jára Cimrman!

Wait, wait… Who is Jára Cimrman again?
Jára Cimrman (Czech pronunciation: [ˈjaːra ˈtsɪmr̩man]), also known as "the Master", is a Czech polymath and universal genius, and one of the greatest Czech playwrights, poets, composers, teachers, travellers, philosophers, inventors, detectives, mathematicians, and sportsmen of the 19th and early 20th century.

He is widely known among Czech people (and was elected as the most important person of Czech history back in 2005). The only problem is... he is not real at all. 😉 But the theatre plays about his life are real (and fun) and Czech people love them. We hope you will like it too!

So what is this event about?
We will visit the Cimrman English Theatre and see a play named “The Act”. It is given in English by English actors living in Prague (with English subtitles for better understanding).

The number of seats in the theatre is limited (most of them are already sold out, because it is very popular among people), so don't wait! We will buy tickets only to those who will register and pay for the event in advance. The price is 125 CZK for students (250 CZK full price), there are around 20 seats left.
